Try not to cringe while scrolling

We praise substantially on Thailand Tatler, but in reality, our digital and editorial teams have a lot of steam to blow off about fashion we've seen over the course of the year through event-attending, Instagram-scrolling and general having our eyes open while out and about. Here are trends we think need perish by 2020 for a more aesthetically pleasing year:

The Over-Oversized Suit

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 15: Lady Gaga attends ELLE's 25th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration presented by L'Oreal Paris, Hearts On Fire and CALVIN KLEIN at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on October 15, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Since when was ill-fitting considered fashionable?

Skin-Tight Dresses

Only the likes of Davika looks good in them, so can we stop pretending like they're for everyone?

Bucket Hats

Bucket hats are only acceptible on children. Above is proof that not even an international supermodel known for her baby face can pull it off.

Don't kid yourself. Balenciaga crocs are still crocs, ugly that is.

A little wear and tear is okay, but if your jeans are going to be ripped this much, just turn them into cut-offs!

Man Buns

Can we stop it with the man buns already? (And it's not just because I don't have any hair for one.)

This trend has spread like wildfire to a point where I once had to doubt my taste, which makes me hate them even more!

RIP the era of luxury fashion where things looked expensive and elegant.

If you're not Freddie Mercury, this is probably not meant for you, let's be honest.

The Sock And Sandal Combo

Doesn't work. Under any circumstances. Make it stop.

– Thurein Tun Oo, intern

Micro Bags

Why would anyone splurge on something so useless like Jacquemus Mini Le Chiquito? Conspicuous consumption is getting a little out of hand here. Why not spend on something precious like jewellery, instead of a bag you cannot even fit your credit card in? Diamonds last forever but these micro bags won't.
