The EmQuartier Opens Kids21 Flagship Store
Commemorating the 21st birthday of Kids21, Club21’s multi-label store dedicated to trendsetting youngsters, has launched the Kids21 flagship store in The EmQuartier. The new venue boasts a whimsically playful design that leaves room for wonder and imagination, as well as the latest pint-sized fashion from a variety of designer brands. Here’s a sneak peak into what's cooking for fashionable hiso kids this spring-summer at the new Kids21 store.
Bonpoint proves that childrenswear can be both stylish and comfortable by offering a selection of designs that, while incredibly cute and chic, are ideal for kids to explore and play in. The luxe childrenswear brand also shows us that small details can go a long way with their iconic intricacies such as the delicate hand-embroidered patterns on the collars. A must for any fashionista kid.
The Fendi Kids collection is a blend of playful spontaneity and casual sportiness with cuts like polos, culottes, simple tees and zip-up hoodies. Featuring fun bright colours and also a few "adult" neutrals, this collection is great for wearing on active outings on sunny summer days.
Givenchy Kids is basically Givenchy miniaturised. The SS18 collection sees a reoccuring motif of stars and the iconic GIVENCHY insignia that's also popular in adult collections. The children's collection maintains much of the brand's signature palette of red, white and black, offering a more edgier, sophisticated look for kids.
Emilio Pucci’s junior collection offers toddlers a chance to dress like sophisticated little ladies with cute babydoll silhouettes and a mixture of funky, girly prints as well as more minimal outfits—because you definitely need a balance of both in your wardrobe whether you're aged three or 30! There's also a wide range of garment types to cover all of your child's different occasions.
A combination of ice creams, croissants and hot dog prints, Kenzo Kids in SS18 is all about fun and food! Colourful, loud and lively—not unlike the adult collection—Kenzo's children's collection also includes the iconic Kenzo tiger emblem and psychedelic animal prints. And, apparently you can be as young as a newborn to start wearing Kenzo. How awesome is that?
NEIL BARRETT KIDS
From tuxedo suits to more casual options of biker jackets, t-shirts and hoodies, Neil Barrett’s kids collection has your little boy covered. Pieces sport the label’s thunderbolt motif, as well as a bold and vibrant colour palette, adding a twist of playfulness and vigor for the youthful. All items are suitable for boys aged four to 14.
PAUL SMITH JUNIOR
Already sporting youthful and humourous vibes in its adult offerings, it only makes sense for Paul Smith to design for children. The junior collection, however is surprisingly sophisticated, with chic chinos, sweats, tees and jackets for both girls and boys. The collection also features a nice balance of bright hues and cool neutrals. Clothes are suitable for kids under 16 years of age.
STELLA MCCARTNEY KIDS
Stella McCartney’s kids collection is definitely one for the cool kids, literally. The pieces inspire a summer outing with motifs like baseball, cameras, palm tree and racetrack, while still keeping the palette and silhouettes sophisticated and sporty. We can easily see bigger versions of these outfits worn by teenagers to young adults, to make the point. Note that all items in the line are made from organic cotton, allowing their tiny wearers to move around in comfort, allergy-free.
