Discover Rolex's New Watches For 2020
2020 hasn't stopped Rolex from launching exciting new timepieces. Adding to the Oyster Perpetual line are four new watches collectors should definitely take note of, including an icon of deep-sea diving. Here are the latest novelties from one of the most precise watchmakers in the world.
1/4 Oyster Perpetual Submariner
Introducing the new Oyster Perpetual Submariner with slightly larger 41mm case, Rolex stresses its long involvement with the marine diving. The Submariner with the calibre 3230 and the Submariner Date with the calibre 3235 offers both time and date functions. This is the first time these calibres are being used in the Submariner range. The new Submariner sports a black dial while the Submariner Date is presented with a royal blue dial, both with a unidirectional rotatable bezel and matching Cerachrom inserts. This model is waterproof to a depth of 300 metres and has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
2/4 Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31
The new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 is now featured in a white Rolesor version, combining corrosion-proof Oystersteel and 18k white gold. The aubergine dial with sunray finishing sports 46 scintillating brilliant-cut diamonds. The new version includes three more colours: mint green, dark grey and 18k white gold. The calibre 2236 within the 31mm case is 10 times more precise with the Syloxi hairspring, while the Paraflex shock absorbers offer more shock resistance. This model is waterproof up to the depth of 100 metres and has a power reserve of 55 hours.
3/4 Oyster Perpetual 41
Completely revised, the new Oyster Perpetual range welcomes the new 41mm and 36mm models. Both fitted with calibre 3230, the former has a dial of silver with sunray-finish and hour markers in 18k white gold, while the 36mm is introduced with a black sunray-finish dial with hands and hour markers in 18k white gold. The Oyster Perpetual 36, however, offers you with a selection of five different new dial colours: candy pink, turquoise blue, yellow, coral red and green. This model is waterproof up to the depth of 100 metres and has a power reserve of 70 hours.
4/4 Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller
For the very first time, the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller in dazzling 18k yellow-gold is fitted with an Oysterflex bracelet. The high-performance elastomer enables maximum performance with its toughness and flexibility. Although the model is waterproof up to 100 metres, the Sky-Dweller has its ties with the development of aircraft technology. Displaying simultaneously two timezones with an annual calendar, this model is truly suitable for jet setters. Within the 42mm oyster case, the calibre 9001 features the blue Parachom hairspring with a paramagnetic alloy that allows 10 times more precision than traditional hairsprings in case of shocks. This model has a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
