A quick roundup of what's trending at Paris Fashion Week '18


Paris Fashion Week continued Thursday, September 27 with shows from Chloé, Manish Arora, Paco Rabanne, Rick Owens and Isabel Marant, plus the eagerly awaited show from Virgil Abloh's Off-White label. The day was rich in inspirations, with various references to sport, history, travel and partying. Here's a look at some of the standout looks from day four at Paris Fashion Week. 

Paco Rabanne 


Paco Rabanne showed a collection full of contrasts, combining the brand's heritage with more contemporary materials, motifs and details, often with a travel-inspired flavor.

There were lots of prints on show at Paco Rabanne, with geometric patters -- sometimes with a 1970's vibe - and ethnic motifs. 


Certain silhouettes popped with brigther shades at Chloé, channeling a cool attitude with chic and boho style. 


Chloé women cut an elegante but laid-back and eternally boho figure this season with fluid, floaty pieces lifting all constraints. Colors were mostly discreet, with just a few exceptions.

The Manish Arora collection brimmed with energy, optimism and color, and was perhaps slightly less eccenttric than usual. Still, the collection injected a healthy doese of fun into womenswear wardrobes.

Manish Arora also showcased the label's collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain soccer club, with pieces such as sweaters and T-shirts feautring pictures of star players like Kylian Mbappé.

There was lots of denim on the Rick Owens runway, in totally deconstructed styles and finished with various details.

Models seemed to step out of a different age in time at Rick Owens, transformed into bewitching figures in armor-like creations. 

Track And Field 


The "Track and Field" collection from Off-White stilishly combined sport and elegance in a chic collection of functional pieces matched with smart blazers. Here, cycling shorts came in a longer cut. 



Styles intermingled endlessly at Off-White, which used lots of fluorescent green this season- sometimes to liven up certain silhouettes and sometimes in all-over looks.

It was party time at Isabel Marant with lashing of twinkling glitter, sequins, metallics and lamé.

Denim also featured prominently in the collection, taking unexpected shaped in feminine and modern styles, often reminiscent of the 1990s.
