Highlights Of Mikimoto Haute Couture Jewellery 2018
Japan's high-end pearl jewellery house, Mikimoto has unveiled its 2018 haute couture jewllery line, and it's as luxurious as you would imagine it is. Themed "Praise to Nature", the collection pays homage to Mother Nature, highlighting precious pearls and diamonds in designs inspired by formations and motifs found in natural life. In total, the new collection includes 12 designs of necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets and brooch. Here are some of the highlights:
This Akoya cultured five-strand pearl necklace features butterflies of made of diamonds, sapphires, tanzanites and emeralds fluttering amongst themselves, while a large emerald gem stone takes centre stage.
Another masterpiece in the collection this necklace highlighting a large central sapphire. Designed to resemble a school of small fish swimming in the shimmering blue sea, stands of diamonds, aquamarines and sapphires wrap around each other spacially and dynamically, creating the effect underwater "braiding". Akoya cultured pearls are added for a extra touch of glamour.
If you're a fan of White South Sea cultured pearls, find them in this collection in a necklace-earrings-booch set, accented with glittering diamond rose petals.
For a more classic look of jewellery to wear to the grand ball, the Akoya cultured three-strand pearl necklace with stylish gatherings or pinches reeks vintage glamour, while a double-stranded variation interrupted by gorgeous diamonds and a big blue rectangle-cut sapphire is the ultimate statement of grandeur.
Finally, for a slightly more daring high jewllery look, find the enchanting black or golden variation of the White South Sea pearlin necklaces, a bracelet and pendant featuring diamonds in a delicate floral formation.
