From SNSD’s Taeyeon to Seventeen’s Mingyu, see all the Korean celebrities who joined the star-studded front row
Louis Vuitton brought the stars out in Seoul for its pre-fall 2023 fashion show on April 29. The French fashion brand presented its first-ever physical women’s pre-fall runway show, held on the South Korean city’s iconic Jamsugyo bridge. The fashion show, which was opened by Squid Game actress Jung Ho-Yeon, showcased the eclectic designs of Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière against a striking, aquatic runway set that was specially conceived by Squid Game director Hwang Dong-Hyuk.
But our eyes were also drawn to the front row, which saw an array of top South Korean celebrities rubbing shoulder with Hollywood stars. New Jeans member and Louis Vuitton brand ambassador Hyein drew the most buzz, arriving in an oversized jacket and knee-high red leather boots. Another K-pop star that stole the limelight is SNSD singer Taeyeon, who wore a white tank top and a grey wool jacket with a matching skirt. Seventeen’s Kim Mingyu covered up in a floral jacket, while Hwasa of Mamamoo looked sharp in a white ruffled top and black pants.
Louis Vuitton’s Seoul fashion show saw its fair share of South Korean actors and actresses too, among them Bae Doona, Park Hyung-Sik, Esom, Lee Sung-Kyung and Han Hyo-Joo. Take a look at all the celebrities who made it to the front row for Louis Vuitton’s pre-fall 2023 fashion show below.
