US First Lady Jill Biden waved the American flag at King Charles III’s coronation through her sartorial choices. Biden looked smart in a cornflower blue skirt suit by American fashion designer Ralph Lauren, which she paired with cream-hued heels and a clutch.

Princess Beatrice made the headlines by arriving to the event with her cousin, Prince Harry, but just as noteworthy was her bold outfit. Beatrice donned a belted midi dress in bright magenta from Beulah London, opting for both the go-to colour and fashion brand of her royal relative, Kate Middleton. Like Middleton, Beatrice also sported a statement headpiece of her own, in the form of a gold headband. Her look was complete with a jewel-encrusted clutch and a pair of nude heels from Gianvito Rossi.

Princess Kiko of Japan brought a dose of Eastern traditions to London when she arrived in a patterned silk kimono, complete with a floral obi sash. Instead of heels, the Japanese royal wore white tabi socks—another traditional touch—and a pair of wedge slippers.

Having flown in all the way from the Middle East, Queen Rania of Jordan looked splendid in a pastel yellow dress by the Paris-based fashion label Tamara Ralph Couture. The custom dress, distinguished by its off-shoulder bow collar and pencil skirt, was modestly layered over a high-neck, long-sleeved top. Like the British royals in attendance, Rania also topped her look with a matching hat featuring a net veil.

Accompanying her parents Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie of Edinburgh, Lady Louise Windsor was a refreshing sight in her white and blue floral dress, a creation by Suzannah London. The Kumiko dress, as it’s called, is crafted from silk and features a dreamy iris flower print. The 19-year-old accessorised her ensemble with a diamond heart pendant necklace and a pastel blue ribbon hat.

Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan graced the event in her nation’s traditional dress, kira. Made in a bright lilac hue, the ornate garment featured geometric embroidery all along the skirt. The Bhutanese royal topped her outfit with a toego jacket, marked by its wide cuffs and golden silkscreened pattern.

Princess Charlene of Monaco was the picture of elegance in a cream-coloured blazer adorned with pearl floral buttons and a dramatic cape draped over one shoulder. Her statement jacket was matched by a midi skirt, a pair of nude heels, and a hat that sat atop the princess’s platinum pixie haircut.

Queen Letizia of Spain offered an unexpected royal take on the Barbiecore trend when she arrived in an all-pink skirt suit by Carolina Herrera. Her peplum jacket was all the more striking thanks to the lavish embroidery along its neckline and its ruffled hem. Perhaps as a nod the Spain’s ancient straw-weaving traditions, Letizia also sported a wide, woven hat with a pink netting.

Cutting a sophisticated figure next to her husband Prince Frederik of Denmark, Princess Mary donned a belted dress in purple—a colour that’s historically associated with royalty. The strong violet hue was also seen in her accessories, namely a leather clutch, a hat, gloves and heels, which allowed the princess’s turquoise brooch and earrings to stand out. Princess Mary had also shown off a turquoise-embellished clutch when she arrived to the Buckingham Palace the day before, where she wore a coral dress by Singaporean fashion designer and Tatler cover star Andrew Gn.
