The K-pop star unveils her first Calvin Klein collection, launching on May 10
Blackpink’s Jennie can now add “fashion designer” to her resume. The K-pop star has collaborated with Calvin Klein for a limited-edition capsule collection, featuring her very own wardrobe essentials.
Having previously modelled for the American fashion brand’s denim and underwear campaigns, Jennie has now taken creative control through the special collection. The “Jennie for Calvin Klein” collection features underwear sets, bralettes, bodysuits, T-shirts and other knitwear pieces that come with Jennie’s personal touches. That includes the pastel colour palette—lilac and chalk blue are some of the softer hues that she introduced for the collection—and the custom Calvin Klein logo made with her own handwriting.

“Collaborating with Calvin Klein on this capsule has been an exciting progression in our partnership,” said the Blackpink member in a statement. “This collection reflects my everyday style and is based on many of the Calvin Klein essentials that have become staples in my wardrobe. I wanted to bring a personal touch to these pieces, which you’ll see reflected in the fit, the colour palette and the details. My aspiration for this collection is that everyone will feel as happy and confident in these pieces as I do.”
Indeed, confidence is what Jennie portrays in the steamy campaign for her Calvin Klein collection. The photos, captured by South Korean photographer Hong Jang Hyun, sees the singer relaxing in her lingerie, or showing off her toned figure while clad in a T-shirt or unzipped jeans. The looks are much more casual than what she wore when performing with Blackpink at Coachella or, even more recently, attending her first Met Gala.
