Mysteriously alluring are these pearl studded haute joaillerie

Wandering into a mysterious garden where flora and fauna roam, bejewelled gates covered in lush hold greater secrets and entice jewellery lovers to explore further. This is the experience of encountering Mikimoto's fall-winter 2019/2020 collection. Jardin Mystérieux is an ode to the allure of the magical garden. Here are some of the high jewellery pieces from this magical collection for you to covet.

The mysterious diamantine gate brooch opens up its doors to welcome you into the jewelled fantasy. Decorated with beautiful carre-cut, baguettes and traditional diamonds, the intricate piece also features a large pink conch pearl hanging elegantly. The scenery is a mosaic studded with sapphires and other coloured stones illustrating a perspective image of a garden.

Another brooch from the collection pictures a closed gate with a blue and purple flowered canopy. Meticulously crafted with pearls, diamonds, blue sapphires, alexandrites, garnets and paraiba tourmalines, this piece is an oeuvre that deserves your attention.

Garnished with dots of Black South Sea pearls, this necklace and matching earrings are delicately made to convey the organic charm of the olive plant. The centrepiece of the neckpiece is large, blue-green, approximately 16.43 carat, triangle-cut paraiba tourmaline that steals all the attention. Meanwhile, one side of the earring creeps up the helix of the ear—a stylish accent of asymmetry to the entire jewellery ensemble.

If you prefer floral over foliage, this vibrant purple-pink morganite collar necklace with Akoya pearls, sapphires, spinels, tanzanites and white diamonds radiates feminine charm and opulence with mauve blossom. There's a set of matching earrings to complete the effect.
