#Tatlergram: Moments You Missed At The Generation T 2018 Launch Party
Last weekend, Thailand Tatler hosted the much-awaited Generation T 2018 launch party, where our list of 50 bright game changers was unveiled. The party took place at the Holiday Inn Vana Nava Hua Hin, and while some of you might have been unable to join us, we’ve gathered some of the best moments, captured through the eyes of our guests.
Few moments are as cute as HUBBA’s CEO Amarit Charoenphan and Kanjanada Opasayanont’s customary backdrop selfies. Even cuter was their shoutout to familiar face Fuadi Pitsuwan, the co-founder of Beanspire, who unfortunately was unable to make it to the event but was clearly not forgotten.
Founder of Otherandbook—more commonly known as O&B—Rarin Thongma looked absolutely stunning in her sapphire blue off-shoulder dress, with a billowing pleated cape for added effect. Also, it really isn’t everyday that one gets to selfie with Thailand Tatler’s chairman Nigel Oakins and editor-in-chief Naphalai Areesorn, so go Rarin!
Sarran Youkongdee, founder of jewellery brand Sarran, strikes a cool pose with the highly-awaited Generation T 2018 list.
Those who are fans of The Table by chef Pam might know that the talented and charming judge of Top Chef Thailand, Pichaya Utharntharm, is one of our Generation T listers. Here she is looking stunning and revitalised after an exclusive spa session with Cle de Peau Beaute.
Exclusive hard polaroid print-outs at the party were a thing. The team behind fashion label Vatit Itthi, co-founded by Itthi Metanee and Vatit Virashpanth, sported cute Generation T hats and big post-networking smiles.
Chef Pongcharn Russel, or chef Top, and Eddie Yii looked great in their complementing suits of ruby red and smart blue. We look forward to seeing them again at Freebird soon, where chef Top leads the culinary team as executive chef.
Pearada Cheepsatayakorn and Aukrit Unahalekhaka, co-founder and CEO of Thailand’s most funded social enterprise Ricult, look super cute against a backdrop of framed Generation T 2018 listers.
The party took off towards the night as guests headed up to join the grand opening of Vana Nava Sky rooftop bar. Jareyadee Spencer shows us how overcoming your fears—hers of high altitudes specifically—can yield worthwhile results, with this stunning photo of her backed by the nighttime cityscape of Hua Hin.
Of course, at the end of the day, the Generation T 2018 launch party was about creating a platform for the young, passionate luminaries of our country to meet and inspire one another with their go-getting approach to life. This group photo from Openbox Architects co-founder Prang Suwannatrai's insta feed shows that. It is in seeing the party guests mingle and get to know one another that fulfils the purpose of Generation T and made our party worthwhile.
