Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous 2019 Inspires Leaders In Ocean Conservation

The aim of the soiree was to raise awareness of and contribute towards marine conservation and other oceanographic research to help protect and restore the indispensable resource for generations to come. A silent auction was held during the night, highlighting tokens such as a custom Oceans For All Triton Subphpotique timepiece, a bespoke Soiree by The Sea charm, an iAQUA Stingray watercraft and a Royal Thai Navy keepsake shirt. Perhaps the biggest surprise item to go under the hammer, however, was a 37-carat Tanzanite ring donated by Fred Mouawad.
Besides the charity gala, KRSR 2019 also hosted an educational beach clean-up and yoga session along with a Fin Arts and Elephant Parade exhibition, which urged the importance of sharks and elephant conservation. And of course, the occasion could not be complete without the showcase of majestic superyachts. This year's fleet included prominent models like MY Sapphire, MY Nymhaea, MY Sanook, Lobster Catamaran, MY Shangri-La, the SACS Rebel 47 and Technohull.
