WHY GO? The Bangkok restaurant of award-winning chef Theo Randall boasts a comfortable indoor-oudoor vibe with a semi-open kitchen. It is located at the ground floor of the InterContinental and is a relaxed bistro-style eatery with a great view of the passing city life.

WHAT TO ORDER? Begin with the fragrant calamari nestled among chickpeas and fresh arugula for a good palate opener. Pan-fried squid is soft and sweet to the bite, serving a pleasant counterpart to the crunchy salad. Continue with tagliatelle con aragosta, an aromatic tomato sauce-based pasta dish with homemade noodles and succulent pieces of lobster. For a lighter alternative, a classic minestrone soup suitable as a vegetarian choice comprises soft vegetables, maltagliata pasta and pesto. Do try the signature costata di manzo for mains. It is a hearty 150-day dry-aged Australian rib-eye which is cooked to pink perfection. Also excellent is lamb chops with grilled vegetables, slowly cooked with a hint of red wine. End with a piece of lightly sweetened flakey almond tart served with strawberries and pair it with a refreshjng cup of Earl Grey.

Drinks The drink list features a precisely categorised selection of Italian red and white wines and proseccos covering the country from north to south. A grand section of cocktails is also available.
