WHY GO? Tenshino at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel takes you back to the 1920s. Bold colours, beautiful paintings and exquisite contemporary furniture make it the perfect place to spend time with friends and loved ones or simply for snapping great pictures for your Instagram feed.
WHAT TO ORDER? Begin with Hokkaido scallops perfectly cooked and served with cauliflower and a flavourful dashi sauce to which is added some pesto for a Mediterranean twist. Continue with a platter of sushi of the day comprising fresh fish flown in straight from Japan’s leading fish markets. Pieces of o-toro, the fattiest portion of the tuna fish, literally melt in the mouth. Monk fish cheeks with foie gras is another succulent signature dish served with flavourful pieces of tender foie gras. For something even more indulgent, don’t be afraid of pairing it with black truffle cold soba. Balance out the the flavours of your meal with a floral Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 50 sake. End with Tenshino’s luscious signature yuzu tiramisu, which is soft, fluffy, rich in lime flavour and topped with cookie crumble.
Drinks A good selection of international wines is available as well as cocktails and an extensive list of Japanese sake. Priced from moderate to high.
