WHY GO? A hidden gem which offers super fresh Mediterranean seafood dishes. The restaurant has an intimate setting with a French bistro ambience. Thanks to chef-owner Martine Pailloux, who always searches for the best quality, a wide selection of excellent oysters, shellfish and fish is available.
WHAT TO ORDER? A good start is the signature seafood platter to share. It arrives loaded with plump oysters and condiments such as lemon, vinegar shallots and seafood sauce. Enjoy it with a side of artisanal rye bread. Alternatively, try tourteau crab salad, which has a good balance of flavours and textures thanks to avocado, ginger, combawa, coriander and shallots. Brittany blue lobster from France or Canadian lobster are the restaurant’s specialties. Both can be enjoyed simply grilled with garlic and butter or steamed with a choice of piquant condiments. In addition, the lobster meat can be combined with spaghetti, herbs, dried chilli and basil to make a great pasta dish. Baked razor shell clams are another standout and have a crisp texture and wonderful briny aftertaste. All fish served in the restaurant is caught wild using sustainable methods, including wonderful Brittany dover sole prepared meuniere style with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes.
