WHY GO? The restaurant is designed in a sophisticated contemporary style. The staff and management are very helpful and polite and the cuisine by chef Americo Sesti is of the highest order.

WHAT TO ORDER? Start with the signature razor clams in their gelee with savoy cabbage and sea urchin cream. Served cold, the dish has a vibrant freshness and hints of the briny sea. As does another starter of Gillardeau no2 special oysters with crunchy apple, cucumber nage and tamarind sorbet. Thanks to the tart apple and sugary tamarind, it has a wonderful sweet and sour balance in every bite. Turning to mains, try duck confit and foie gras rillettes served with ginger and radish chutney. The combination of duck confit and foie gras offers both taste and texture variations that are hard to beat. Another hearty main course is a pan-seared Kamui beef fillet served with carrot and apple puree and a rich rosemary jus. The angus beef is raised Kobe-style and cooked to a perfect soft and tender texture. Also end on a high note with the signature dessert of millefeuille napolean, crispy layers of delicate pastry filled with vanilla cream and topped with raspberries and strawberries.

Drinks The excellent list is presented by an experienced sommelier with high experience.Price is inexpensive compared to similar restaurants in Bangkok.The wines selected pair well with the menu.
