This tastefully converted family home is located in a tranquil soi. Serving modern Australian cuisine in a stylish dining room with the terrace for weekend brunch. Walls are adorned with dramatic murals which, with the open kitchen, add to the contemporary ambience.

Begin with pan-seared scallops served in a smooth and rich butter sauce with the classic combination of fresh peas. Also, wagyu beef tartare paired with a charcoal jam is a dramatic and successful combination: the beef tender, the charcoal adding another dimension of flavour. Follow with roasted wild barramundi with crispy skin in a light white bean emulsion. Other fish dishes can be shared, such as the half lobster served in two contrasting ways—one in a creamy coral bisque, the other in a pomelo salad. Alternatively, the tender wagyu rib-eye is simply grilled with hasselback potatoes cooked crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Do leave room for dessert from a choice of unusually flavoured home-made ice creams or the multi-layered passion fruit crumble with fluffy white chocolate mousse and crunchy spiced meringue.
