WHY GO? This high ceilinged, modern industrial restaurant has an outdoor terrace and is a buzzy popular venue in the evenings. It used to be the location of Quince, which is moving to a new address.

WHAT TO ORDER? Begin with a rich and smooth chicken liver parfait served with lightly toasted country bread drizzled with olive oil or alternatively an equally decadent salad of local creamy burrata cheese accompanied with sweet organic tomatoes from Chiang Mai. Continue with either the comforting home-made meatballs with spaghetti or one of the steaks from a lesser seen selection of cuts including an angus flank and an Australian wagyu bavette. Both are expertly served tender, packed with flavour and with a choice of sides. A house signature of mashed potatoes dressed with smoked truffle butter is incredibly moreish. Leave room for either a platter of cheese or one of the tempting desserts such as a refreshingly light vanilla panna cotta with locally sourced mulberries and vanilla ice cream or the luscious soft chocolate mousse balanced with a salted caramel sauce.
