WHY GO? A very versatile venue with a dimly lit, slick grandeur suitable for any occasion. An impressive Chinese menu with a seemingly endless choice ranging from basic dishes to more special meals.
WHAT TO ORDER? Order the signature Fei Ya peking duck a day in advance to relish the crispy roasted skin with ultra-thin steamed rice flour pancakes and condiments served the traditional way. The duck meat can be enjoyed six different ways depending on your personal preference. Try it wok-fried with peppers and pair it with fresh cabbage, or have the flesh made into a piquant soup if you prefer. The wide selection of egg noodles may interest you, especially a signature offering of noodles topped with buttery cubes of foie gras. Boston lobster egg noodle is also a signature dish and comes highly recommended, but arrive early because it tends to sell out quickly at both lunch and dinner. As with all Chinese restaurants the menu is extensive and features all kinds of seafood, meat and vegetable selections. End the feast with the traditional sesame balls in a mildly sweet ginger tea that aids digestion.
Drinks A wide selection of Chinese teas of varying intensities and aromas to suit different tastes. The wine list is also diverse in price and range and includes labels from most well-known producing countries.
