WHY GO? This, the first and flagship of the Hospitality Management Asia group, has an upbeat vibe with a multitude of dishes for sharing, including marbled steaks from across the globe. The menu leans heavily towards French cuisine.

WHAT TO ORDER? Begin with one of a number of small bites including crunchy croquetas topped with truffle mayonnaise or its version of bruschetta with homemade bacon jam, stracciatella and nduja coating lightly toasted sourdough. Follow this with a decadent creamy camembert served piping hot from the oven accompanied by a truffle green salad and char-grilled bread for dipping. It is perfect for sharing. Main courses tempt with an A3 takumi wagyu ribeye from Japan at either 300g or 500g, or an equally enticing wagyu beef wellington. Rich and satisfying, the fillet is wrapped in mushrooms then enveloped in golden pastry and served with ribbons of foie gras sauce. A recommended side dish of potatoes aligot is an intriguing option. Desserts are well worth trying, ranging from an unexpected tiramisu to traditionally executed chocolate lava cake, which is a decadent note on which to finish.

Drinks A comprehensive wine list is offered with an emphasis on French producers. Prices range from reasonable to lofty. Several carefully chosen wines are also available by the glass.
