On September 1, Tatler unveiled Asia’s Most Stylish 2023, the annual list that honours the fashion superstars who exhibit individuality, taste, fearlessness and a mastery of self-presentation. With 50 best-dressed honourees from across the region, Asia’s Most Stylish is a powerful showcase of how different points of view—cultures, traditions, trends—lead to a universal appreciation of excellent fashion.

In a two-cover special, we feature the elegant Roshan Valiram of the Valiram Group and brothers Terimunite and Trunan Chandran, scions of our Asia’s Most Stylish 2022 alumni Dato’ Sri Bernard Chandran, who talked to us about their philosophy when it comes to style and how they use fashion as a form of self-expression, and/or as an armour they draw strength and courage from to face the next challenge.
