With February bringing cosmic energies that support healing, Tatler’s astrologer Casey Chan explains what it means for each star sign next week
February brings cosmic energies that support our transformations and healing. An evolution is taking place both in our inner world and the outer world (the collective consciousness).
On February 5, Mercury moves into Aquarius and conjuncts with Pluto, prompting us to rethink our beliefs and perspectives. This could lead to unexpected insights and a chance to reflect on our thought patterns. At the same time, Venus in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries, while the Sun in Aquarius forms a sextile with Chiron. An asteroid known as the “The Wounded Healer”, Chiron represents our past wounds and greatest healing potential. This is a phase of healing and empowerment, when we can find renewed self-value and trust in ourselves. The New Moon in Aquarius on February 10 coincides with the Lunar New Year and brings forth themes of innovation and progress. With the influence of Neptune in Taurus, there might be resistance to change, especially in the stable areas of our lives. However, the Aquarian Dark Moon is reminding us that progression often means making necessary changes, no matter how uncomfortable it might seem.
Amid the strong Aquarian energy next week, balance becomes essential. While embracing outside-the-box thinking and detached objectivity, it is equally important that we cultivate compassion for ourselves.
