This week, we see Rosewood Munich opening its doors, pampering guests with residential-inspired suites. Meanwhile Castello di Carole, a Belmond Hotel in Tuscany, introduces two private villas inspired by the property’s rich Etruscan heritage.

Closer to home, Section L’s latest Tokyo property captivates guests with its elegant Japandi-influenced aesthetics, while Grand Hyatt Seoul offers opulent suites and an array of dining experiences. Speaking of experiences, Ayana Resort Bali has partnered with Utama Spice and Jamu Bar to dream up a unique wellness concept store that explores Indonesia’s traditional remedies and tonic.

1. Grand Hyatt Seoul

Located in the heart of the bustling Itaewon neighbourhood is Grand Hyatt Seoul. Surrounded by lush gardens that overlook the Han River, Hyatt’s latest property combines nature with urban living. Stay at the Grand Executive Suite and you’ll be pampered with scenic views of the Seoul skyline, a spacious lounge area and a marble-clad bathroom. Gourmands will revel in the hotel’s dining offerings, ranging from yakitori fare at Tenkai to authentic South Korean cuisine at Teppan.

Section L has opened its latest property in the vibrant Ueno-Hirokoji neighbourhood in Tokyo. The latest hotel draws guests in with its cosy atmosphere, blending Japandi-influenced aesthetics with a touch of retro flair. Book the Sauna suite and get to relax in the private Finnish-style sauna after a long day of exploring. Guests will also have access to InterSection, Section L’s in-house social app that helps travellers discover neighbourhood gems and local events around the area.

3. Rosewood Munich

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest property in the heart of Munich. Stay at the Grand Premier suite, a residential-inspired space complete with a separate bedroom and living area, dressing room and marble bathroom. Take advantage of the hotel’s facilities while you’re here, such as the full-service brasserie, Asaya spa and its two courtyards. Explore the hotel and look out for various artwork by local talents such as Olaf Hajek, one of Germany’s most celebrated illustrators.

4. Ayana Resort Bali

Ayana Resort Bali has partnered with natural skincare company Utama Spice and health tonic producer Jamu Bar to create Jamu & Spice, a wellness concept store that explores Indonesia’s traditional remedies and tonics. On top of products, the space holds 15-minute workshops that teach guests how to create traditional jams blends, herbal teas and natural skin products. Try the traditional herbal remedy, an immersive workshop providing guests with an in-depth understanding of Indonesia’s traditional health practices.

5. Castello di Carole, A Belmond Hotel, Tuscany

This luxurious hotel has introduced two new private villas: Villa Thesan and Villa Usil. Inspired by the property’s rich Etruscan heritage, the villas are surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, boasting stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. Villa Thesan is decked with terracotta flooring, rustic beams and Tuscan stone, complete with private patios and an intimate garden. Exclusive and private experiences are also available during your stay, including astronomical sun-gazing, cosmetology workshops and Tuscan spa treatments.
