Gone are the days of the bulky stainless steel bodies of the previous iPhone Pro sets. This time, Apple has used titanium, a lightweight yet strong material, for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, making them the lightest Pro handsets ever crafted, while delivering enhanced durability.

These new models also boast noticeably thinner bezels, allowing for a slightly larger expanse of glass on the front screen. The screen sizes remain generous, at 6.1 inches for iPhone 15 Pro and 6.7 inches for iPhone 15 Pro Max. The devices also have rounded edges and come in four hues—black, white, blue and grey. Meanwhile, the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus mobiles feature a colour palette of pastel shades such as pink and yellow.

Apple has ditched the Lightning port across its entire iPhone 15 portfolio, opting instead for the speedier USB-C connectivity, while also complying with the European Union’s rules. While this change may seem like bad news for those who already possess Lightning cables and chargers, making the transition to using USB-C cable would mean you can charge all your Mac products and even Android devices with a single cable, with faster data throughput at a speed of 10GB per second.

For users who have filled up most of their storage capacity, the benefits are even more enticing. With the USB-C port, you can now import images and back up your iPhone directly to your MacBooks or laptops because these already have USB-C connectivity. This translates to more efficient transfer speeds for safeguarding your files and photos.
