Good news for Emily in Paris fans! The Netflix romantic comedy series has just been renewed for seasons three and four

Emmy-nominated series, Emily in Paris is officially coming back for two more seasons on Netflix. The second season was released right before Christmas and already topped the list across 94 countries.

The romantic comedy series follows Emily (Lily Collins), an ambitious marketing executive from Chicago who’s sent to Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company. There, Emily embarks on a new journey trying to prove herself to her new colleagues, making new friends and finding love.

Following the two-season renewal, cast members took to social media to express their excitement including Lily Collins and Ashley Park.

The upcoming season is set to be filmed at the Studios of Paris in either spring or summer. According to sources, locations outside of France are also being explored including London. Emily’s new love interest, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), is from London so it’s not surprising that the two might spend some time there.

Dubbed by many as an “easy watch”, the escapist show was watched by 58 million households in its first 28 days when it first aired in 2020. It earned two Emmy nominations, one for Outstanding Comedy Series and the other for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program.

There’s no news yet on when viewers can expect season three.
