1. A Heart Warming Tea Party At Sretsis Parlour


Celebrate valentine’s day in the lush surrounds of Sretsis Parlour where the new Party of Four tea set arrives on a rose gold cake stand. 2. Eastern Delights At The InterContinental


InterContinental Bangkok’s Summer Palace marks the advent of the Year of the Pig with a choice of three auspicious menus for groups of 10 or more persons, available February 5-10 between 11:30am-2:30pm and 6-10:30pm.

Priced at 13,989++ baht, the Emperor set starts with a serving of salmon yee sang, a salmon salad symbolising health, wealth and prosperity that is tossed with chopsticks at the table. The Fortune set, priced at 15,989++ baht, starts with an abalone yee sang and the Wealthy set, at 18,989++ baht, starts with Alaska king crab yee sang. A Chinese New Year à la carte menu, as well as a special dim sum menu, are also available for both lunch and dinner.

3. Sansiri's Top Table


Luxury property developer Sansiri has introduced a Sansiri Chef Your Table dining experience for homeowners at all its properties. The exclusive promotion features four celebrity chefs who will prepare special set dinners in your home for the ultimate chef’s table experience. The participating chefs include Chumpol Jangprai of Michelin-starred restaurant R.Haan and chefs Kamol Chobdee-Ngam, Surakit Khemkaew and Vichit Mukura. This dinner service is conveniently accessible through the Easy Living section in the Sansiri Home Service application and via Sansiri Chef Your Table is priced at 20,000 baht for eight diners and is available from now until March 31.

4. A River Rejuvenation


Chi, the spa at Shangri-la Hotel, Bangkok invites guests to experience the serenity of the riverside with the River Escape treatment. Available until March 31, the River Escape journey begins with a 30-minute detoxifying steam bath, followed by a 60-minute body massage to relax the mind and release tension. Afterwards, guests can indulge in a 30-minute facial treatment to detox the skin before ending with a scrumptious afternoon tea at the Chocolate Boutique overlooking the River of Kings. The full two-hour treatment is priced at 5,450 baht net per person and is available from now until March 31.

5. Pattaya Pool Paradise


Set to open this month, X2 Pattaya Oceanphere is located in the fishing village enclave of Bang Saray. Consisting of 59 pool villas, the low-rise resort is unobtrusively tucked into the dense trees and vegetation just 400 metres from Bang Saray Bay. It is built in a unique geometric form that resembles rice terraces gently cascading towards the seafront. Guests at X2 Pattaya Oceanphere have a choice of stylish one- and two-bedroom villas ranging from 137 to 257 sqm. The resort has also announced the appointment of Steve Lockhart as the new cluster general manager for X2 Pattaya Oceanphere and X2 Vibe Pattaya Seaphere.

6. The Green Dream


Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket has launched the Orchid Garden project, which aims to amplify the resort’s lush green surroundings and promote the property as Phuket’s premiere tropical garden resort. Featuring one of the largest green spaces in Phuket, the Orchid Garden project showcases a variety of tropical orchid species including dendrobium and vanda.

Added to these are different species of fruit trees, tropical plants and organic herbs. Begun in January, the project is expected to be complete in 15 months. The Orchid Garden is one of the eco-inspired projects organised by Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket to support its wider strategic goals on environmental sustainability.

7. Eco Pillars


After holding a Green Inspirations meeting in 2018, the management of 137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts has eliminated single-use plastic in its hotel rooms and restaurant outlets and continues to reduce its environmental footprint. Since its opening in 2011, 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai has won much acclaim for its many initiatives to reduce waste. All organic waste is either composted or turned into biochar, which is mixed into the compost to make it richer and more nourishing for plants.

In Bangkok, 137 Pillars Suites & Residences has also followed with initiatives of its own. To conserve electricity, LED lights are used throughout the property, while an advanced heat pump system designed to save energy keeps the hotel cool all day.

8. Come In No3


Lebua Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of lebua No3—Bangkok’s newest upscale gin, caviar and vodka bar. The new outlet is located at the 52nd floor of Tower Club at lebua and offers marvellous views of the Chao Phraya River and the city skyline. Serving Effen vodka and Sipsmith London dry, the bar features an elegantly lit spiral staircase that leads to three indoor and outdoor spaces each serving gin, caviar or vodka. The first has a glossy black marble finish with an illuminated bar and a DJ zone, while at one of the two external spaces there is the world’s first P4 digital retina-display dance floor.

To continue the trend of exclusivity when designing lebua No3, the team has released the brand’s first album, curated in partnership with international music producer Andrew Murray.

 9. 80/20 Is Back And Better!


Charoen Krung’s 80/20 restaurant is back with a bang following a complete refurbishment. The husband-and-wife team of chef-patron Joe Napol Jantraget and pastry chef Saki Hoshino have been keeping themselves busy and are set to introduce a new nine-course tasting menu. Called Episode 2, it will feature only local produce with recipes designed to bring out the unique taste of each ingredient. The restaurant’s new interior has also been transformed by doubling the size of the old space, and now guests can sit at a dining counter to watch the chefs in action.

Working with Choti and Debby Leenutaphong’s Foodie Collection, the new drink list features cocktail creations by Supawit Muttarattana, the genius behind The Art Book for Vesper, while the wine list has been redesigned by Foodie Collection’s sommelier, Thanakorn Mankit.


10. Hear The Ocean At Scarlett


Crab lovers will be delighted by Scarlett Bangkok’s king crab promotion with delicious dishes. Caught in cold water, king crab is the largest species of crab in the world and is highly prized by chefs and diners alike for its meaty texture and sweet flavour. Savour appetisers such as king crab terrine with baby carrots, confit red peppers, shallots and fennel coulis or enjoy the king crab remoulade with celeriac mash and crustacean jelly. The main dishes continue with a comforting and flavourful taste such as melon and beetroot crab cannelloni, while the king crab tagliatelle is sure to satisfy your cravings.

Open daily from 6pm-1am, Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant’s king crab menus are available until the end of February, with prices starting at 450++ baht.


11. Valentine Venues Of The Waldorf Astoria


Indulge your special someone this coming Valentine’s Day with an intimate dinner for two at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. Start by toasting your love at The Loft and The Champagne Bar atop the hotel, the perfect spot to celebrate with amazing views of Bangkok’s skyline. CentralWorld celebrates the grand opening of Playmondo, a world-class amusement zone for kids old and young. The new amusement facility offers world standard rides and activities, including Playsquare Laser Tag for adults and children. Situated at the Forum Zone on level 2 of CentralWorld, Playmondo also has an educational aspect for children aged one to 13. Under a Play, Plern, Learn and Roo concept, children can enjoy adventures in four play areas inspired by nature—desert, ocean, volcano and jungle. Playmondo is open daily from 11am-8pm.
