Inspired by the 2009 blockbuster, Mercedes-Benz’s Avatar concept car offers a glimpse of the future of mobility
Not one to shy away from pushing the boundaries, Mercedes-Benz surprised fans with a wild concept car at CES 2020, the annual tech trade show that takes place in Las Vegas. This year, the German automaker pulls out all the stops to create Vision AVTR (Advanced Vehicle Transformation) with the help of the director of “Avatar,” James Cameron.
While concept cars are expected to be futuristic and over-the-top, nothing could prepare us for the daring design of Mercedes-Benz’s Vision AVTR. Inspired by Pandora, the world of Avatar, the show car telegraphs the brand’s mission to tread more lightly on the earth with sustainable designs and zero-emission mobility.
