2/14 The Bold Bites Of Sala Lanna

Sala lanna Chiang Mai, the urban boutique retreat in northern Thailand, is elevating its culinary experiences to new heights by teaming up with Wanlamun, one of Chiang Mai’s most celebrated Thai restaurants. Replacing the hotel’s old riverside restaurant known as On the Ping, the vision for the new Wanlamun outlet is in alignment with the Sala Hospitality Group’s aim to deliver high-quality authentic cuisine using locally sourced sustainable seasonal produce. 3/14 Kishin Satisfies Thonglor's Taste For Omakase

Kishin, the premium omakase restaurant led by chef Satoshi Tsuru, brings the flavours of Japan to Hotel Nikko Bangkok’s Ginza Thonglor. Boasting a more spacious dining room than other omakase restaurants, Kishin offers guests a comfortable space in which couples and groups can enjoy the sophisticated cuisine at the heart of buzzing Thonglor. The restaurant serves two options with ingredients constantly changing according to the availability of fresh fish and seasonal produce. The first is Sushi Craze, which consists of 13 pieces of sushi and two types of desserts priced at 4,900 baht. The second option is the omakase menu, which is priced at 6,900 baht and starts with a selection of soups and moving on to 15 pieces of sushi and two desserts. 4/14 Cape Fahn Presents Rich Flavour

Cape Fahn Hotel on Koh Samui, part of the Cape and Kantary group of properties, has teamed up with renowned chef David Thompson for the opening of new Thai restaurant Long Dtai. Meaning ‘heading south’ in Thai the restaurant, which sits on a crest overlooking the sea, offers the best of locally-grown produce prepared using the rich culinary traditions of southern Thailand. Thompson, who is known for his love affair with Thai flavours, presents sweet sensations such as sugar dumplings in coconut milk and savoury treats like a southern-style curry with minced pork, green peppercorns and grilled mussels. Two stylish restaurants have opened in the Langsuan neighbourhood. The first, a steak outlet simply called Sexy Cow, is so named because of the meticulous arrangement of the dishes and the satisfying flavours and textures of the prime meat it serves in a sophisticated rustic Western setting. Heading the restaurant is experienced executive chef John Cadiuex. Steaks and seafood ranging from Thai-style dishes to an imported tomahawk steak from Australia are on the menu. The second restaurant is Bonsai, which serves traditional Japanese cuisine. Hado, a type of physical augmented reality technology originating in Japan, has been introduced to Thailand at Show DC in Rama 9. Also known as a techno sport, Hado utilises hybrid technology that combines augmented reality with motion sensor technology in a sports competition format. Different to other e-sports, Hado players are physically active, wearing head-mounted AR glasses and body sensors to compete. Currently available with two pricing categories, visitors can pay 150 baht for three games or 499 baht for the whole day.
