Gen.T Stream is a virtual event series from Generation T. Our events celebrate entrepreneurship, innovation, the power of youth and the possibilities for our shared future, with the goal of catalysing personal and professional change.

The first Gen.T Stream, which will take place on May 15, 2020, will be themed “Reimagining our shared future: Taking control of the next chapter”. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us with a unique opportunity to reassess the way we live, and we’ll tackle different aspects through the insights of renowned speakers and inspiration through unique experiences.

Author of “The Future is Asian”, Partner at FutureMap

An international relations expert with his finger on the pulse of the future, Khanna is founder and managing partner of FutureMap, a data- and scenario-based strategic advisory firm. An influential international relations expert, he has worked for organisations such as the World Economic Forum, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Brookings Institution, and has also served as a senior geopolitical advisor to the US government. Khanna, a best-selling author, just released his sixth book, The Future is Asian: Commerce, Conflict & Culture in the 21st Century.

Matthew Brimer
Co-Founder, General Assembly

From education to entertainment, Matthew Brimer is a serial entrepreneur cultivating an ecosystem of start-ups. Brimer is the co-founder of new businesses including entrepreneur education organisation General Assembly, which recently added its philanthropic arm Opportunity Fund; early morning dance party organiser Daybreaker; and The Fund, an early stage venture fund that aims to nurture the next generation of start-ups.

Singer, Songwriter, Entrepreneur & Record Producer

Shila Amzah is a Malaysian award-winning singer-songwriter, composer, musician, dancer, actress, businesswoman and record producer. With over 2.3million Weibo followers, Shila is the first and only Malay artist to have success in Chinese-speaking countries and Chinese record charts, she is best known for winning the Chinese talent contest called Asian Wave and is the first Malaysian artist to be nominated at the World Music Awards.
