This week on Editor's Picks, Thailand Tatler's digital editor shares her favourite collaborations as of late, from skateboards and artists to supermodels and shoes

1/5 Basquiat X The Skateroom

"In Italian"
"Hollywood Africans'
"Horn Players"

I'm a terrible skateboarder, especially now recovering from a broken leg and being so out of practice. But these skateboards aren't for skating on—they're absolutely for show. The Skateroom, a collective dedicated to empowering at-risk youth, recently collaborated with the estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat to come out with decks printed with some of the late neo-expressionism artist's greatest works. At US$550-630 for a three-deck piece or $810 for Basquiat's "Demon" on five skateboard decks, they're a more affordable way to own "a Basquiat" (real paintings have sold for millions), and you'll be chipping in to educational programmes for children in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa.

2/5 Levi's X Takara Wong

Denim is my second skin, and so I was very excited when one of my favourite Thai designers, Takara Wong, recently collaborated with Levi's to release a line of denim-on-denim looks. If you haven't gotten the memo, the best way to wear denim is to pile it on, and the Levi's X Takara Wong Collaboration Capsule does that while also serving some serious denim manipulation, from patch-work and colour blocking to fringey edges and piercings.

3/5 Shu x Metinee

Step into the shoes of a supermodel, quite literally. Last week, Thai shoe brand made a huge statement unveiling two collaboration collections with none other than Lukkade Metinee Kingpayome, the "Mother of Dragons" of the Thai modelling and fashion industry. The first collection, Metinee Kingdom, comes in "strong, strong, strong" with vibrant animal prints, while the cheeky Naked Metinee Collection offers various nude tones a woman needs in her wardrobe as much as her python or tiger print pumps.

Available at Shu.

4/5 Gongkan X Unique Board

You've probably seen the works of this New York-based Thai artist around Bangkok. To jog your memory, Gongkan has a knack for drawing people, even famous public figures, popping in and out of portals. A follower of his work, I recently learned about 3D versions of Gongkan's Teleport Boy and Teleport Girl on The Jam Factory's Facebook page. The artist has apparently joined forces with 3D printer Unique Board to bring his famous illustrations to "a new dimension". Made of resin, only 50 sculptures are available. To get a hold of one, DM Gongkan personally on Facebook

5/5 Giambattista Valli X H&M

Sorry, this one isn't available yet, but I'm going to make you all wait in torment with me! H&M has officially announced that Giambattista Valli, the Italian maker of dreamy gowns, is their next designer collaboration. I admit I haven't always been stoked on H&M-designer collaborations, but this one is so dramatic, so haute, I'm definitely going to be one of the ones lining up at H&M when the collections drops on November 7. Prices are said to range from $17.99 to $649.
