Blaq Lyte's back, alright!

Returning for the second year is Blaq Lyte's Bangkok Block Party, a weekend extravaganza of music, entertainment, food and all-round good vibes. This time partnering up with Rabbit, Block Party 2019 will take over Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery on January 19 and 20 from noon til 10pm, plus an after party at the W Hotel after that. Here are a few things to know about the event:

Three Stages, Three Genres

Inclusion of a variety of tastes and lifestyle  is what has made The Bangkok Block Party such a popular and highly anticipated event. This year, expect three music stages dedicated to hip hop, indie-electronic and rock 'n roll.

If you thought 10pm sounded early for a Saturday night, it's because there's an official Block Party After Party. On Saturday, head over to The House on Sathorn at the W Bangkok from 10pm onwards for three more stages! There will be hip hop at the Emerald Room; techno at the Ruby Room; and live rock music playing at The Bar.

As a special treat, this year's Block Party theme was designed in collaboration with cult LA-based streetwear company RIPNDIP, of which you may recognise the cat character "Lord Nermal". Exclusive collaborative merchandise will be available at the event and in addition, internet sensation Lil Mayo—AKA "the most savage alien on the gram"—will be hosting the party with Ethan Cutkosky of Showtime's hit series Shameless.

Tickets to this year's Block Party are sold exclusively through Rabbit Line Pay. There are two options to choose from: generation admission to both days for 900 baht per person or the VIP pass at 3,500 baht per person which includes a free flow of Moose Cider. You can scan the above QR codes to proceed to purchase.

And That's Not All

One thousand limited edition RIPNDIP-Rabbit cards will be available for sale at the Block Party. Don't forget to sign up for Rabbit Rewards at the event to receive more privileges and discounts throughout both days of the party. The Bangkok Block Party will also be hosting several local artisans and tattoo artists, plus a variety of activities and workshops celebrating small and up-and-coming talents that will be suitable for all ages.
