Red Panda Design’s Stardust penthouse was named for its almost panoramic city view
Nestled in the heart of downtown Kuala Lumpur, this holiday home, spanning an impressive 7,600 square feet, was brought to life by Red Panda Design who took inspiration from the penthouse's breathtaking panoramic city views.
The journey of designing the Stardust penthouse began with a fortunate referral from an existing client. As soon as the interior designer set eyes on the penthouse's location, it was an instant attraction.
With a blank canvas before them, the design team had the unique opportunity to shape each space from the ground up, witnessing the construction process unfold brick by brick.

The name Stardust was chosen to evoke the enchanting cityscape that lay before the penthouse. However, the design concept focused primarily on practicality for the end users, ensuring a space that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional for the family.
When it came to selecting materials and finishes, careful consideration was given to the hot climate of Kuala Lumpur. Marble floors were chosen to provide a cooling effect, countering the heat that streamed through the vast surrounding curtain walls during the day. Additionally, timber floors were incorporated to create a warm and inviting ambience.
