On October 5, we celebrated the launch of the Gen.T List 2022 and specifically the 39 honourees from Philippines on it in Manila
On October 5, Gen.T welcomed guests from across the Philippines to the Shangri-La The Fort to celebrate the launch of the Gen.T List 2022. Among the 300 individuals across Asia who made it onto the list this year, 39 of them represent the Philippines.
In honour of this new cohort of honourees, we held an intimate private dinner that saw 28 of them in attendance and joined by members of the Tribe, including Kevin Tan of Alliance Global and Franco Varona of Foxmont Capital Partners.

The evening kicked off with emcee Anne Gauthier giving an introduction to the Gen.T brand. Then, it was time for the first highlight of the evening: the Gen.T x Credit Suisse Social Impact Awards.
Since 2019, Gen.T has partnered with Credit Suisse to organise the Awards to recognise honourees using technology to create a positive impact every year. This year, 12 of our 2022 honourees were selected across the region—one of them from the Philippines: ER Rollan of GrowSari, who was presented the award by Mark Uy, country manager of Credit Suisse Philippines and head of investment banking for the country.
Later, 2020 honouree George Royeca, who is the CEO of Angkas, the local sponsor for the event, took the stage to share with guests about being a business leader, pushing boundaries, changing perspectives and testing one's limits.
The event was also sponsored by Megaworld Corporation, Lexus and The Singleton.
