Ask Lex PH Academy, founded by 2022 Gen.T honouree Felix Veroya, aims to promote education through its pandemic-born banner project, Project EskwelaJuan
Everyone is entitled to education, but for hundreds of millions of people around the world, education comes as more of a privilege than a right.
This disparity has prompted individuals such as Felix Veroya to take significant steps towards bridging the educational divide. Ask Lex PH Academy (Alpha), which Veroya started in 2016, is an online learning platform that helps users upskill and get accredited in areas from engineering to data analytics and design strategies.
In 2024, they’ve relaunched their banner project, Project EskwelaJuan, which has so far produced about 100 free e-learning courses covering workplace skills such as innovation, sustainability and analytics.

Intending to create a library of free courses geared towards Filipino students, young professionals and entrepreneurs, Project EskwelaJuan invites mentors to undergo a free boot camp to translate their real-life experience into an online lesson. At the end of the year, mentors are promised a pro-rated share from the Alpha Mentor Fund—usually around Php100,000 (US$1,800).
E-learners, or those who take the courses, are incentivised with Alpha Coins, which can be used as a form of payment or discount for premium courses listed on the platform.
