AI and big data are helping athletes and coaches improve their game, prevent injuries and optimise strategies. AI systems can monitor and analyse an athlete’s performance during training sessions and competitions.
Wearable sensors and cameras, for example, can be used to collect and analyse data on an athlete’s biometrics, movement and skills, turning them into actionable insights for coaches to adjust and optimise training methods and how an athlete can more quickly achieve their goals.
