Celebrate happy times with the Italian restaurant and bar's new executive sous chef

The Shangri-La Bangkok’s Volti Restaurant & Bar is the go-to when speaking of elevated Italian cuisine, and the restaurant recently got itself a bit of a facelift. With an all new, fresher colour palette just in time for the Christmas season, Volti has also welcomed a new executive sous chef, Deivid Paiva. Following classic Italian cooking methods while infusing his own lightheartedness, chef Paiva presents to curious diners an all-new menu. 

Slow-cooked octopus, tomato Gazpacho, marinated potato green celery foam and cucumber confit
Fresh Burrata, organic tomato, smoked tomato, caviar of tomato and fresh garden leaves
Seared cod, escarole sauce, capers and olives

The new a la carte selection highlights dishes like slow-cooked octopus, tomato gazpacho, marinated potato, green celery foam and cucumber confit, ravioli with smoked buffalo mozzarella, tomato compote and burrata cream. Meanwhile, steak lovers will be fascinated by the succulent flame-grilled Australian angus or wagyu cuts. You should also give the Piatti Speciali menu, which offers exciting choices such as flambéed tagliatelle with truffle in a Grana Padano cheese wheel, a try.
