The Peninsula's Chinese restaurant, Mei Jiang, invites you and your family to feast on chef Ball Yau's two curated menus and a selection of a la carte dishes from January 22 until 27. Come for lunch for the six-course menu, priced 2,800++ baht, or arrive later for the eight-course dinner for 3,888++ baht per person. Chef Ball Yau's menus for the year of the rat include dishes such as black fungus, double-boiled sea conch, baked tiger prawn, stir-fried spotted grouper, braised pork knuckles, stir-fried vegetables, stir-fried sticky rice and the not-to-be-missed braised bird’s nest.

2/6 The Dining Room—Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

The Dining Room at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok also invites you to welcome the year of the rat with Chinese delicacies, in addition to their celebrated international lunch and dinner buffets, from January 20 until February 2. Enjoy appetisers such as jellyfish salad sesame, deep-fried prawn salad with strawberry and cream, stuffed pork leg with chilli sauce and chicken and asparagus salad with chilli sauce. With prices ranging from 1,390++ to 2,290++ baht per person, more Chinese favourites such as Peking duck, braised chicken soup, pork ribs with lotus root soup and traditional Chinese desserts are waiting for you at The Dining Room. The Renaissance Bangkok's award-winning Fei Ya restaurant has brewed something exciting for Chinese New Year this year. From January 23 to 26, chef Cheung Chin Choi has prepared special nine-course lunch and dinner sets, priced from 1,888 to 3,888 baht, to make your CNY celebration all the merrier. Each set comes with a variety of mouthwatering Cantonese style dishes, including the traditional Yu Sheng salad, Fei Ya’s famous lychee wood-roasted Peking duck, braised Australian Abalone, double-steamed bird’s nest in coconut milk and many more.
