The Mandarin Oriental has prepared an unforgettable culinary journey for lovers to indulge in this Valentine's Day. From formal French cuisine to relaxing afternoon tea, the teams behind the hotel's four renowned restaurants promise a memorable celebration of romance and deliciousness with a vast selection of dining options.
What's more romantic than a seven-course dinner for two at legendary Le Normandie. Frenchman and award-winning chef Arnaud Dunand Sauthier would know a thing or two about a romantic meal. Translating his memories and sentiments of his hometown close to Lyon in Savoie into exquisite dishes like caviar soup with beetroot, Langoustine from Brittany with celeriac and apple, he makes simply exquisite dishes that are made even more exquisite enjoyed with the one you love and a view of the Chao Phraya from up above. The seven-course dinner at Le Normandie is priced at 25,000 baht net per couple.
Lauded for its seafood and grilled dishes, Lord Jim's is the perfect destination for the evening of February 14. Chef Nick Gannaway has meticulously crafted a four-course dinner that will serve both the eyes and the palate. The journey commences with Aphrodite's Fruits of the Sea, an assortment of Gillardeau oysters with rose-champagne and wild mushroom consomme, king crab from Russia topped with caviar and Japanese bafun sea urchin. The meal will continue with a chicken dish called Adam and Eve Garden Elixir and then the main course, a choice between Lobster Surf and Turf or steamed grouper. The dinner ends with the refreshing raspberry and champagne swirl. The four-course dinner for two is priced 9,400 baht.

Before your special dinner, relax at The Author's Lounge and enjoy the special Valentine's afternoon tea set. Bask in the elegance of the city's most classic lounge and open the tasty A Book of Love. Made with love, 13 pieces of artisanal pastries and savoury bites such as foie gras, rose praline brioche and strawberry mille-feuille are arranged inside the limited-edition Book of Love, which you'll be able to take home as a Valentine's 2021 memento after the high-tea experience. This special afternoon tea is available until February 28, 2021, at 1900++ baht per set.

If you're looking for a less conventional Valentine's Day dining experience, go for a romantic Japanese dinner. Award-winning Kinu by Takagi is offering a 10-course meal with premium and seasonal Japanese ingredients served kaiseki style. Dinner is priced 20,000 baht per couple or 30,000 baht with caviar.
