Celebrating the country's finest dining establishments

Mr Nigel Oakins, chairman of Blue Mango Publishing and Ms. Naphalai Areesorn, editor in chief of Thailand Tatler, hosted the launch of Thailand Tatler Best Restaurants 2015, an annual publication that features all-new reviews of the top 200 dining establishments in Bangkok as well as the best in the major resorts of Phuket, Samui, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai. The launch was held on March 25, 2015, at the ZEN Event Gallery, CentralWorld. Mr Oakins and Khun Naphalai presented Best Restaurant certificates to 38 restaurants that participated at the event. Well-known and prominent guests mingled and tasted delicious fare from the prize-winning restaurants’ stands.

Each restaurant was chosen by the editors of Thailand Tatler, based on suggestions from readers. They were all visited by food writers who only identified themselves at the end of the meal to ensure they did not receive preferential treatment. The result is a user-friendly guide with a comprehensive, objective description of each establishment, plus ratings for setting, food, wine and service.

This guidebook has been published in conjunction with MasterCard, targeting affluent consumers and corporations in Thailand, as well as overseas visitors who look for exceptional dining experiences. Presented prominently in the guide are MasterCard offers, featuring top-quality dining establishments where MasterCard members can enjoy exclusive dining privileges.
