This upcoming Lunar New Year is a special one as the year of the pig marks a completion of the 12 Chinese zodiac cycle. Coming last in line, the pig symbolises wealth and easy life. Meanwhile, it is custom for Chinese to eat good food on New Year's to ensure high fortune and spirits for the rest of the year. So we've compiled a list of places in Bangkok prepared to serve the best Chinese New Year cuisine for you and your loved ones next week to make sure you have an auspicious year ahead.

This February 4-13, enjoy special Chinese menus such as jellyfish and chicken salad, Peking Duck with pancake and Hoisin sauce, Szechwan hot and sour soup and mashed taro with gingko nuts and sticky rice.
