5 Variations Of Cocoa Every Bangkok Chocolate Lover Needs To Try
In rain or shine, cocoa is always there to make your day that much better. As our favourite cafes reopen or deliver with fervor to serve, here are five chocolatey drinks from five different boutiques that are worth your money.
1/5 The Signature Single Origin - Kad KoKoa Thai Craft Chocolate
If you like to support a homegrown chocolate brand, try Kad Kokoa. Kad Kokoa offers dark chocolate hot and cold drinks that will boost your love for chocolate (if that were even possible). If this is your first time, get the Signature Single Origin. Made out of melted 70 per cent single origin dark chocolate, with some milk (vegan option available), this signature drink will satisfy any chocolate craving. Another drink we highly recommend is the Chocotini. Without milk to veil the flavours of the chocolate, this drink really highlights the fruitiness that makes Thai chocolate so unique. You can order drinks for delivery directly through Line (@kadkokoa) or Instagram or Facebook.

Some of our favourites include the 70% Hot Chocolate, 70% Dark Chocolate, Parisian Hot Chocolate, and the Mexican Chili Chocolate, but one of the most popular is the 58% Dark Chocolate, which can be enjoyed hot and with marshmallows. All of Chu’s concoctions are made with cacao berry chocolate and have no added sugar or artificial ingredients. They offer takeaway or order via their official Line @chu.bkk.

5/5 Ready-to-Drink Signature Chocolate Drink - Paradai Crafted Chocolate & Cafe
Paradai Crafted Chocolate & Cafe is a craft chocolate maker that sources its cocoa locally from farms in Nakhon Si Thammarat and Chanthaburi. Their Signature Hot/Cold Chocolate will melt your heart with its bittersweet flavour and milky texture. In Paradai's craft chocolate process, only cocoa and organic sugar are used, with no addition of artificial flavours, additives, soy lecithin or vegetable oil—which is quite remarkable.
