The 137 Pillars' Organic Gourmet Festival starts today and will last for 11 days

After previous successes, 137 Pillars is bringing back its Organic Gourmet Festival to  Bangkok again at the 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok. Starting today, the philanthropic culinary event boasts a stellar lineup of award-winning chefs who will guide you through a series of exclusive gala dinners, each followed by an afterparty with equally celebrated bartenders. The festival will also include organic farmers’ market and Sunday brunches, and the portion of the total proceeds will go to support the non-profit Autistic Thai Foundation. February 27

Commencing the 137 Pillars Organic Gourmet Festival on February 27 will be the Organic Farmers’ Market from 4-10 pm at the hotel’s lawn area. Participating vendors include the Royal Project Foundation, butcher shop by Arno’s, Le Cordon Bleu, Kad Kokoa and Captain Hook’s Smokehouse. The market will run until March 1 and will be back on March 5 to 8.

The first gala dinner features celebrated chef David Thompson of Aylmer Aaharn restaurant group. An Aussie with a serious love affair with Thai food, chef Thompson is an ambassador of Thai cuisine and Australian beef. An afterparty follows the dinner with top Singaporean mixologist, Mel Chavez, flying in from Tippling Club.

February 29

Chef Thaninthorn Chatrawan of Chim by Siam Wisdom will be taking over the kitchen on February 29. With a lineup of classic Thai dishes—some a century old—chef Thaninthorn infuses modern touches to ancient recipes. Niks Auman from Teens of Thailand will then entertain you with exotic concoctions.

The first dinner of March will take you through the tastes of Peranakan culture under the culinary guidance of Malcom Lee from Candlenut, Singapore. Kris Du of Shanghai's most popular speakeasies will then take the scene for the afterparty.

March 7

Flying in from France, Japanese chef Masafumi Hamano of Au 11 Février Saint-Amour-Bellevue will be cooking on March 7. Come experience the chef’s culinary alchemy as he blends Japanese and French tastes seamlessly. Pongpak Sudthipongse of Sorrento will then excite you with his cocktails.

March 1 and 8⁠

On March 1, feast on a Sunday brunch prepared by 137 Pillars' executive chef Maxim Baile and chef de cuisine Nanang Orasetya Aditama from Nimitr. The second brunch on March 8 will come from another culinary duo of chef Malcom Lee and chef Masafumi Manano.
