Thailand Tatler’s first ever Generation T, which honours 50 of Thailand’s creative visionaries and trailblazing talents under the age of 40, was finally unveiled at a celebratory bash at the Park Hyatt Bangkok. The night kicked off with our digital editor Mika Apichatsakol’s playing the role of a talk show host – hoping for a couple of cocktails down Graham Norton style, but alas it was only 7:30pm and perhaps not customary.
Joining her onstage were panelists and T-listers Amarit Charoenphan of HUBBA and Timo Trunks founder and AP Thailand head of corporate marketing Sappasit Foongfaungchaveng, who brought contrasting perspectives to how creativity + innovation can bring us to a smarter Thailand. Thailand Tatler also had the pleasure to welcome Head of Generation T Asia Tamara Lamunière for the unveiling of the chosen 50. Keeping in line with the initiative’s focus on how creativity and innovation are keys to unlocking a smarter, better and fairer society, the T-listers adopted a social cause with Bring The Elephants Home as the chosen foundation. A silent auction for two Paris-bound Air France business tickets raised over 101,000 Baht to go towards the foundation’s conservation efforts for Asian elephants.

Generation T-listers including Sutima Sucharitakul, Kanachai Bencharongkul, and Panupong Tejapaibul along with other late-night guests were treated to an after party with DJ Ben of Studio Lam and an endless flow courtesy of Pernod Ricard until the clock ticks midnight. While the event was as much of a celebration in honour of the achievements of those championing the way for the new generation, the conversation still continues. Stay tuned as we will be sourcing the answers to your questions about life and success from 50 young individuals who’ve proven they’re unstoppable right here on Generation T.
A special thank you to our sponsors Cartier, AirFrance, and Pernod Ricard for making our Generation T party a blast!
