Eco-conscious party animals are in for a treat next month as the pioneering Wonderfruit festival of art, music and ideas for a better and sustainable tomorrow returns to the lush fields at Siam Country Club, Pattaya on December 14-17.

As usual, a remarkable line-up of performers has been booked, including Wild Beasts, Chronixx & Zincfence Redemption, Roots Manuva and Craig Richards. This year, however, to add something new, the event will feature immersive experiences through six unique pillars aimed at encouraging, developing and innovating sustainable solutions that will have a positive impact on the planet.

“Wonderfruit is not just a music festival,” says Montonn Jira, our Gen-T lister and co-founder of this pioneering annual event. The aim, as he explains, is to raise awareness on sustainability issues by offering people an event where you can simultaneously have an amazing time and live sustainably and consciously. With that in mind, Wonderfruit has joined forces with the Plastic Pollution Coalition (PPC) to tackle the issue of plastic waste. So, if you're headed to Wonderfruit this year, it'd be wise to pack some steel flasks or bottles, or biodegradable if you want to be extra eco, because the use of plastic on-site is not permitted.

Tickets, Tranport and Accomodations

If you're interested in joining in on this fashionably earth-lovin' event, you can conveniently purchase tickets now at  eventpop.me. After you do that, eventually, you'll need to think about getting to the event and your accomodations. If you're not trooping there with friends in your supercar, Wonderfruit has an exclusive deal with Grab, offering up to 200 baht discount on your trip from Bangkok to Pattaya.

For accomodations over the multi-day festival, you can either opt to rough it out in a luxurious Wonderfruit tent (22,000-42,000 baht for three nights) or a fully decked-out RV (55,000 baht for three nights), or stay off-site during the nights in one of Wonderfruit's partnered hotels, which include the Movenpick Siam Hotel Na Jomtien Pattaya, Centara Pattaya and Dusit Thani Pattaya, among others . Bringing your own luxe mobile home or staying at alternative hotels is of course perfectly acceptable as well. Be sure to check the camping or parking permit fees of Wonderfruit.
