Laid-back and suave were our first impressions of Ou. The charming chief creative officer of Sansiri is known for his many international and local design achievements and yet he has a refreshing down-to-earth demeanour that hinted at what would become a fun photo shoot.

Meeting at the Monument Sanampao by Sansiri, the art deco-inspired gleaming brass and marble-clad interior of the venue oozed modern luxury and elegance. On arrival at the facilities on the ninth floor where our photo shoot was to take place, the team was greeted with a beautiful interior lit by warm afternoon sunlight filtered through airy curtains. As proceedings got underway, the Sansiri team kept us all refreshed with coffee and tea from the nearby kitchenette, a favourite spot for the luxury condo’s residents to socialise.

The location has many stylish corners and offers panoramic views of the cityscape. There is also a private screening room, which allowed the team and our cover boy to play around with fun and creative shots. That said, with limited time because of Ou’s busy schedule the pressure was on to get perfect pictures. However, thanks to his professionalism and eager cooperation, the team was able to work swiftly and efficiently to get the images needed. It was a pleasure to work with Ou who showed an intuitive understanding of the poses our photographer wanted. His relaxed and playful attitude put everyone at ease and we had a set of great shots in the can in no time.
