Organised by the Newsmakers, a group of charity-minded creative-thinking individuals composed of senior editors, communication professionals, media veterans and celebrities, the Clutter Sale, which is back for its 11th year, encourages you to do good through shopping, while getting value for money. It’s fun for both vendors who wish to get rid of their unused goods and offload their clutter and for shoppers who can shop until they drop.
This year, 70 booths will sell a large variety of goodies, primarily second-hand items in very good condition donated/sold by VIPs, celebrities as well as the expat community. You can find fashion accessories, antiques, home décor items, home appliances, and clothing from prominent fashion brands on offer. There is also a charity corner where items can be purchased for prices as low as 20 baht.
Additionally, don’t miss out on the lucky draw with fabulous prizes such as airplane tickets, hotel stays, spa treatments, food and beverage vouchers among other things.
Proceeds will be donated to Chulalongkorn Hospital’s 'Genetic Cancer Research Centre' under the auspices of the Thai Red Cross. Head to Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel’s grand ballroom on April 1 and enjoy a fun day of shopping for a good cause from 10 am – 5pm. For more information, call 08-8995-6956.
