Following the recent announcement of their engagement, all eyes around the world are on Prince Harry of Wales and American actress Meghan Markle, and the highly anticipated Royal Wedding set to happen in Spring 2018. With Meghan well on her way to becoming an international fashion icon, we take a closer look at the princess-to-be and draw style inspiration from some of her favourite fashion pieces:

Céline medium big handbag

Every woman needs a trusty tote, a handbag that fits everything when you're on the go, and Meghan is no exception. We've seen her sporting a similar bag from Céline from the airport in Toronto to the streets of London

Everlane cashmere crewneck sweater
Who says the princess always needs to be decked out in designer duds? Meghan has been a fan of Canadian label Everlane for some time now. We've spotted her on numerous occasions in their $100 cashmere crewneck sweater.

Jimmy Choo Romy 100 heels
Channel Meghan's Cinderella story with these festive pumps from Jimmy Choo. We've seen her wear the navy version in 2016. Style these sparklers with a pair of skinny blue jeans and a boyfriend shirt (a wardrobe staple for Meghan) for a luxe yet casual look.

Mother Denim frayed ankle jeans
Meghan is a jeans-and-t-shirt kind of girl. With a little digging on the internet, we found that out her go-to label for jeans is American label, Mother Denim.

Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses
Ray-Ban's signature Aviator sunglasses epitomise classic cool. Whether she's jetting off on holiday or touring around the world for her hit TV show Suits, Meghan has always been seen sporting a pair of timeless Aviators.

Roland Mouret "Lockton" gown
With her effortless yet polished style, it's no wonder Meghan is a fan of designer Roland Mouret. The princess-to-be was spotted in a similar gown by the designer at Elton John's AIDS Foundation charity gala in 2016.

The Row "Bruner" coat
The coat Meghan wore at the announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry sold out in a matter of minutes. It was by Canadian brand Line The Label. You won't be able to get your hands on the exact jacket, but we found a similar one by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's label, The Row.

Victoria Beckham pencil skirt
Meghan's character Rachel on Suits was known for her chic combination of silk blouses and pencil skirts, so who could blame her for taking styling cues from the hit TV show?

Chanel ballet flats
Meghan, like any other woman, has a penchant for shoes and she documents her love of fancy flats on her Instagram. We've seen her wearing the famed Charlotte Olympia kitty flats, but nothing comes close to her classic Chanel flats.

Barbour field jacket
Spending more time in the English countryside is definitely in the books for Meghan, and what could be more appropriate than this workwear-inspired jacket by Barbour?

Erdem "Grazia" dress
Meghan's list of go-to labels may be expanding to a fleet of talented British designers very soon. Who do we think will top her list? Perhaps Erdem Moralıoğlu. She wore a similar print while on a romantic Caribbean getaway with Prince Harry earlier this year.

Maison Michel "Henrietta" hat
Whether vacationing in Madrid or jetting off from Toronto Pearson International Airport, we've spotted Meghan donning a variation of the classic Panama straw hat. We think it's the perfect accessory to complement a breezy summer look.

Emilia Wickstead "Ethel" Jumpsuit
We've seen the late Princess Diana and Princess Kate Middleton in Royal red, and Meghan made an appearance on The Today Show in New York in 2016 sporting a dress in the same hue. This jumpsuit from New Zealand designer, Emilia Wickstead, makes a shining statement.

Strathberry midi tote
Meghan was spotted carrying this tri-colour tote from Scottish label, Strathberry, on her first official royal outing with Prince Harry. Did the bag sell out? You bet. The bag sold out on their website within 11 minutes.
